Director of Operations
Part of the WHF team since June 2010
Hello there! My name is Rachel Baker and I am the Director of Operations. I oversee our 5 Operations teams that are located in Casper, Torrington, Cheyenne, Laramie, and Scottsbluff, NE. I am also a phlebotomist. I have been with Wyoming Health Fairs for almost nine years.
Why I always brag on my job – I am extremely proud of the true impact we have on people’s lives. We offer low cost blood screenings that people can actually afford. We also do it in a setting that is familiar and fun. We are consistently trying to make improvements to an already amazing company. My passion is to nurture the relationships that we forge as teammates and with our clients. We are truly just one large happy family.
These are a few of my favorite things – My favorite meal is cinnamon rolls and chili, but I also really like seafood and BBQ. I have a 24-year-old son named Christian, whom I love dearly. I am a Christian and recently got baptized. I have two cats named Sumo and Tigre. And a pet Japanese moss named Bob Moss (I struggle at keeping fish alive and that may or may not have something to do with aforementioned cats or my love of seafood.) I have a passion for scrapbooking, crafting, kayaking, floating, fishing, camping, sparkling water, and hiking. I enjoy listening to Christian, Hip Hop music, and dancing. My favorite color is pink. I absolutely love to travel AND eat so Operations is the perfect fit for my lifestyle!
Part of the WHF Team since May 2014
I’m Heather Hafner. I have been with Wyoming Health Fairs since May of 2014 and am the Wellness Coordinator. My job consists of leading the Wellness services for our staff as well as working with all our wellness clients. I am responsible for Health Coaching, our Wellness Platform, and am the account manager for some of our clientele. Wellness Coordinator is a very new role for me within our company as of June 1st, 2019. I was previously the Operations lead/Phlebotomist and have spent most of my WHF career as a supervisor traveling all over the State as well as the Nation.
I enjoy working for Wyoming Health Fairs because of the amazing work we do. I am so proud of all the people we have helped and will continue to help. Wyoming Health Fairs is not just a place to work, but a home with one big family. We are constantly growing and changing for the better. The best part? We are all a part of it. We work together to create new solutions, and I am so grateful for the people I work with.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my Husband, friends, dogs, and soon to be little one. I am originally from Montana but have lived in Wyoming most of my life. I have lived in Casper since 2011 and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. I love all kinds of music and movies from every era, and have been told, that I should have been born in a different time. I absolutely love 70’s fashion…well, the colors anyways! I enjoy getting to know new people and hearing their ideas. I wore vintage boots at my wedding, am very patriotic, and fall in slow motion ha. I am a huge Elvis fan mainly because we share a birthday, and well…it’s Elvis! All in all, though, I am kind of a homebody. My favorite kind of day is just chilling with the ones I love.
Casper Operations Lead
Part of the WHF team since April 2019
I entered the healthcare field in 2011 as an EMT and CNA working in many aspects of the medical profession. In 2016, my son was born and I decided I needed a change of pace in this line of work. That change landed me as a scheduler in a nursing home. Knowing that if I did a good job as a scheduler, my residents received the best care possible. That mindset led me to Wyoming Health Fairs where our work touches the lives of many Since joining Wyoming Health Fairs, I’ve had the opportunity to travel to nine states — so far. My role on this team includes coordinating and leading the Casper operations team. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is successfully juggling many tasks at once, sometimes miles away from home. Those tasks encompass coordinating event dates with account managers, assigning representatives to those events and supporting the representatives through the event. When I’m not working, I can typically be found spending time with my son, Owen, or looking for my next adventure. Someday, I’d love to get back into baking and eventually writing my own cookbook.
Cheyenne Office Lead
Part of the WHF Team since January 2014
Hi, my name is Lynde Childs. I am the Lead in the Cheyenne office, which means I do a little bit of everything. I do the schedules for the Cheyenne employees, I draw people’s blood and I do Data Entry.
I love my job. I like who I work with and what I do. I get along with almost anyone and everyone. I like being able to come to work and have a little bit of fun with people, and being professional at the same time.
I am a mom of 5 kids. They range in ages from 11 years to 6 months. When I am not busy running around doing the kids activities, I like to be at home on the ranch. I am a country girl by heart, through and through, that lives in the city for now.
Laramie Operations Lead
Part of the WHF team since June 2008
My name is Chasity and I am the Lead Operations Person for our Laramie Office. I just celebrated 10 years with Wyoming Health Fairs earlier this year.
My husband and I have been together for 25 years and have two great kids. I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering with our local 4-H clubs and having “crafting” afternoons with my friends.
I love working for Wyoming Health Fairs mainly for our participants. Over the years I have come to know and love many of them. They are always so grateful for our services and do not hesitate to tell us. I like knowing that we help people be proactive in their health. The heartfelt testimonies that we hear of our screens or tests catching a life threatening illness or issue that may have gone undetected are another reason why I absolutely love my job. These stories bring a feeling of gratification that is incomparable. I also enjoy traveling for this job. We visit most communities in Wyoming. In a time when health care is sometimes hard to get, is too far away or too expensive, we help provide an affordable and easy way for you to get the information you need so you can discuss any issues with your health care provider.
Thank you to those who continue to support us and if you haven’t been in to get your blood screening yet (or just stop in to say hello) , I look forward to seeing you soon.
Scottsbluff/Torrington Operations Lead
Part of the WHF Team since October 2016
Hello, My name is Jerri Leon I am the Lead coordinator in the Scottsbluff, NE and Torrington, Wy offices. I am very fortunate and extremely lucky to be able to travel all of Nebraska as well as North Eastern Wyoming coordinating times, dates and new locations or communities to provide our low-cost blood screenings.
My favorite aspect of my job is our Team, we are so blessed to have such amazing, kind and wonderful people working together to create a fun atmosphere. There are times when we are having so much fun conversing with people that we forget that we are working. I absolutely love the the feeling of walking into a community that is so thrilled to have us and take advantage of our services. Absolutely the best warm fuzzies anyone could ask for.
When I am not in the office or in the car traveling, I can be found Watching Football with Family and just hanging out, or Riding my Motorcycle with Friends enjoying country scenery and hills of South Dakota. I am mom to two amazing Children who truly bless me in the best ways.
